740 16v b234f engine wanted

@euphiefernn what @Major Ledfoot means is park it up and don't drive it. The only time to drive it is to the repair shop.

Is the oil the same colour?

It might also be cheaper/easier to cut your losses, flog off the 740 and get something else (i.e. a Toyota). If time is a factor, waiting for the head gasket will take a week anyway.

I would like to visit and inquire about it, but I guess they might say the same as other mechanics... ‘there's no worth to fix it etc’ haha...

They say that, to make you go away. They don't want slow tedious work, they would rather do oil services and make more money.

But, they have been recommended by fellow volvo enthusiasts so I would give them a call
