Adelaide was good, I didn't get to post many updates while we were here since we were pretty busy, we drove there on Thrusdsy and spent Friday checking out the wreckers and the city, then went to dinner at the water.

Some of the places we stopped on the way

Found some good stuff at the wreckers

And @priacrow old S60R auto, it was pretty strnage seeing this in the wreckers when I use to work on it and it was stored at my house, I removed some of the parts I fitted to It years ago, I got both bumpers and all 4C shocks as spares for my S60R. A lot of it was already gone.

The view from the restaurant was pretty good

Then went and picked up @kwikbrik 's 940GLE

Towing it through the hills was interesting

Is the 940GLE for repairs? Did you buy?

Yep we bought it, it will definitely get repaired, it's done 199Km and the body is pretty tidy, the Inteior needs a bit of work and the oil pump bolt has snapped so it has a few bent valves.

Damn! I sort of hoped I'd have dibs. Oh well.

Sorry, didn't realise you wanted it!

Things have been pretty quite in the Volvo department while I finish the sandman project.

I started to strip down the B234 in the 940, it looks like it will need some new exhaust valves.

The AC clutch pulley is pretty horrifying

Probably time to tidy the front yard lol, I'm hoping to get the front of the buliding painted soon. A designer is working on making up a logo for us, I think it will be a blue background with white lettering.

Ultimately I'd like to put a small hedge or garden in, which should make it look nicer and hide lights which can shine on the front of the buliding and signs.

All these will be going to scrap soon if anyone wants to any parts, most are already fairly stripped but there's some good parts left, lots of panels, I can probably also cut repair sections from shells. Located in Western Victoria

Tempting to come and have another look, but NOOOOO! I might find something I don’t need... :)

I quite often find things I don't need, like the pair of Volvos I'm picking up tomorrow.

I'm parting this out if anyone needs parts

My dad found some ocean race flags for me today, should look good in the workshop.

        Picked up two 360GLTs today

@Samman88 dropped off the 740T parts car today, defiantly happy with this since it has a lot of tidy black interior parts in it. I started to remove some of the interior earlier. Things will be pretty busy soon with stripping parts cars, there's the red 240, this 740 and the two 360s to part out soon. Then I'm meant to be getting a 264 parts car.

One of a few recent purchases has arrived, a 1973 164. It's a pretty unusual car, It's one of the ones that was bought in Sweden but bulit for the Australian market, so the owner could drive it around Europe til it was old enough to bring it here without the luxury car tax. It's 111 blue metallic which I don't think was available here, most 164s here were solid colour. It has a factory sunroof, black leather interior and a GT steering wheel, it was fully resprayed and never put back on the road.

I got a parts car for it today, very rusty but it has a rebulit engine and lots of accessories.
