  • [sold] 240 suspension package: Bilstein B6s, DVS springs & tops, Kings rear springs

Hi all

Making the move to coilovers, so I need to sell my current setup to fund some coily-bois

Ive got a complete front end setup consisting of some Bilstein B6s, DVS Special 250lb front springs and some near new front strut tops.

The setup has about 6,000 kms on it, and handles like it was brand new

Front end ride with this setup is great, you get a nice amount of "Low" without compromising the steering geometry, while the Billies firm up things nicely without going too crazy.

Ive also got a BNIB set of Kings rear springs too that I could package together. (KVRL-07)

Pics for demo, theyll be a bit dustier now

Asking 500 for the front setup which is about 800ish new, & 180 for the rear springs

You can buy adjustable strut tops too. KMac or others.

You can but modern KMac hardware isnt what it was way back when so I'd entertain other options first.

If you need more negative camber but dont need the adjustment, offset strut mounts are a good idea.

All of that said, both are a little pointless (as you cant fully utilise them) unless you're running coilovers as the factory dia spring only has so much room to move inside the strut tower.

One of the biggest advantages of a coilover in a 240 is that moving to a smaller dia (2.5" or similar) spring) gives you more space inside the strut tower to move the strut assembly around and therefore greater range of adjustment.

Beyond all that info, this is a resurrected thread and I think all the original hardware has been sold.

To answer your question, @OscarC , you wont need a set of LCA spacers or rack end spacers with this spring option.

The KMac are not cheap, what is the option for the P3 with camber and caster?

(Maybe a new thread addressed to Mr Davies 'suspender guru' can come from this please Ash? I need lots of links and bushes...Have Proflex Black to go into the rear subframe. After a hairy 'roundabout on Sunday plowing straight I need much replaced due to mileage and better front planting. Even the P* felt understeerey on my usual ''bout.
