FM receiver is garbage!!

I’ve purchased around 10 units over the years for my various P80 platform cars with the SC head units, plus one for a P2 chassis car with the HU unit (also with the Dolby pro-logic sound).

Sound quality is excellent - it’s plugged through the CD stacker port so as good as a CD. Crisp & clear & sounds great with the factory amp & dynaudio speakers.

I’ve also added the microphone for telephone Bluetooth so it’s perfect in my opinion.

I don’t understand why people replace the original head unit for one which looks way too modern & not original, & usually lose sound quality too.

Each to their own I suppose, but it’s a thumbs up from me.

What kind of grill do you have and one type are you after?

I assume the standard chrome waterfall grill?

You can paint them black for a different look, or swap for an egg crate style off the XC70.

There are also aftermarket mesh style if that’s your thing…
