So the younger one of the old Volvo's is going to be getting a bit of needed TLC. The car has always had the servicing done when req'd and any issues have always been resolved. The car has done around the 260000km and still pulling strong as ever.
I've started ordering stuff, so far replacing all the ignition components, complete service, will be changing all the fluids, both inner and outer tie rods, looking at the bushings around the front end and front suspension mounts. Anything else?
Also has anyone been able to get the drive shift front cv on to the angle gear? In australia

Interested, how much and is it refurbished?
I have a good second hand complete tailshaft or I have a brand new in box front CV joint.
Now I need one.
Also message Ash@dvs to get pricing on bushings, mounts etc for the front end. Hopefully get the cv off Rob, just got to put some pennies away now.
I think all up it will come to $2500ish by the time I'm finished and a v70 that will last a few more years
There's a manual in SA on gumtree at the moment. I'm guessing a manual version is extremely rare?
Will try to, am shite at that sort of stuff, and on a 2-1 roster in the Pilbara.
Yeah mines an auto and it's now the main car ( just sold the Amarok) cause the missus preferred the Volvo to drive.
Thanks for the complement.
