quite interested in this one and I'm going for a look tomorrow AM – any thoughts? Buggered AWD? Blown HG? Seller tells me it's just been to QLD and back, and it certainly *looks* OK.

In a bit of a rush for a family car – miraculously sold our 2 cars this week, leaving me with one broken in the shed (piston ring fail – my last "cheap" car!) and none to ferry the wife and kids about..

I'm guessing it's cheap for a reason but the seller didn't give much away. Cheers!

Oh, I thought the 5sp attached to the 2.5 was one of the "safe" ones?

I've read the 3.2 is a bit anaemic, and I don't really like diesels.. where does that leave me, bearing in mind the rep of the T6?

Sucking it up with a diesel, I guess?

I've noticed some dirt cheap ones lately. A lot of car for the money. If anything is going to go big time I'd say it would be the trans but there are many examples of long lasting ones. No probs yet for me, will be hitting 150,000km soon.

There was a white one in town here on the side of the road for sale for bugger all (2 or 3grand), 330,000km + and apparantly performing fine.
