From goauto.com.au
In the premium segment, Volvo posted its best result since local assembly in the 1970s, with its volume growing by 43.0 per cent, to 6693 vehicles, thanks to incremental sales from its XC40 small SUV (1588 units) and a stronger return from its XC60 mid-size SUV (2827, +49.5%).

How is 6700 vehicles per year even worth having a presence in aussie land?

I'm sure they sell fewer cars in other markets. It must be worth their while or they'd pull out. I fear for Holden to be honest. Makes me a bit sad after 25 years (my whole career) with GM. Of course if Volvo went under we'd all be devastated.
