I'm putting this one up now as I just got notification of it, and the theme for 2019 will be "salute to European vehicles", which means us!
Entry is $5, and you can pay at the gate. Make sure to register online first, as they will allocate a Volvo space based on the number of Volvos that register. Registration details are at the bottom of this post. If a large contingent of Oz Volvo peeps are interested, I can put us down for a contiguous club space, but you'll need to RSVP here soon.
I've been to this show a few times, and it's one of my favourites. You get a huge turnout of vintage cars and there's even a section for vintage implements. Berry is a really nice place to be, with a lot of great driving (anyone who attended the 2015 National Meet can attest to this).
Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club is hosting the 2019 National Motoring Heritage Day which pays tribute to Australia’s Motoring Heritage. The theme this year is a “Salute to European Vehicles”, however everyone and all owners of Vintage, Historic and Classic vehicles of all years and marques, and vehicles of special interest are invited to come on Sunday, 19th May and enjoy the day with us. The Day is open to clubs and individuals alike, entrants are asked to register their vehicles to be displayed.
The Gates will be open from 7.00 am and the Day will finish at 3.30 pm.
Refreshments will be available, with Gerringong Lions providing a sausage sizzle, and other vendors supplying food, coffee, ice cream and soft drinks.
Judging will take place from 9.00 am to 12 noon
Awards will be presented at 12.30 for the: Best Theme Car and Runner up; Best Car in Show and Runner Up; Best Bike in Show and Runner Up; plus a number of Merit Awards for Outstanding Presentation
To register e-mail mjrlipscombe@bigpond.com with your full name and the make and model of your car.
