And took delivery of the new exhaust fitted on the E21!

Something fell off the car on the way home... fun. I don't know what it was yet...

Wino;c-143193 wroteA wild Ninja 250 appeared.

Weird night last night, young bloke dropped it and left it at the Queanbeyan Red Rooster car park, as he had no way of getting it home. Mate of mine lives about 500m away from my work and has a bike trailer, so I offered to pick it up, take it home for old mate, you know, be helpful.

Anywho, agreed to meet up at 6:45... old mate never showed. Not wanting to leave the bike in the middle of Queanbeyan overnight, I offered to store it for him, now I have a random Ninja in my garage. Hmm.

I ran the plates, no it’s not stolen or encumbered/under finance, I think it’s more a case of the kid being a bit shook up after dropping it.

I seem to have acquired a ZX6 in vaguely similar circumstances. Despite the assurance that "it will be gone by Easter at the latest", it is still here...

I'm half wondering what the time frame is before I either register it and sell it, or put it out to pasture...

Would be a shame, a Ninja 250 isn't at all a desirable bike, but about $100 worth of second hand Joes parts would make a pretty perfect first bike for someone.
Oh look, a January build ‘86 TX5 Turbo, original down to the spare tyre and tape deck

Wow. Manual? I saw a very clean na one at the local pick a part. Shame.
That's both disgusting and extremely cool and I love it
Yep manual, one owner, not started since 2013. Throttle is stuck.

It was garaged until 2013, after the old fella passed away the family pushed it into the backyard and filled the garage with junk :(
I remember a ride home in the above model,, a Ghia, my chauffeur the brother of Ford engineering or summat.
I'd tried these pills the guys took on night shift to stay focussed, thought I'd give it a shot, not that I really needed it in my 30s.
Well,i didn't need the spinout and ? for sure... At least I got paid the night but "Tiny", the chauffeur, wasn't keen on me sullying his nice cloth interior. Boy did they have nice interiors!

Remind us, if you will, what motor did they run? 2.0lt or 2.2lt?
It's a 2 litre.

So... haven't touched it, have had an offer from Sydney for $500 more than what I paid - Seems it's going north.
If I remember rightly its a fuel injected and turbod version of the engine that was in our van.

Look familiar?

Yeah, the SI is an XS but with the 1.6 bottom end rather than the 1.4, same suspension, injection, even the same head.

Also SI’s had electric windows and AC as standard, XS’s they were an option

From £11k though? Not quite sure on that figure...
