So a K cam is bigger with more duration even in the exhaust side. More duration and lift on the exhaust side in particular in these 8v motors is desirable for a turbo application to get more exhaust gases out to spin the turbo up faster, basically. It's a little bit more complicated than that, but talking about these cams it's more applicable. The intake on the K cam is more of an issue, but even then it's not huge and the kg2t runs more duration with less lift. Either the vx3 or K is a good choice, the V does use more lift on exhaust, but availability is the factor there.
I'd consider parting with a vx3 assuming I still have two.
