Modded AW71, 15g running 20psi?
Stock AW71 is amazingly fine with the power required for a 13 second pass
19T running 19PSI and E85 and Lh2.4 with 3" AMM and 45lb injectors and a better than stock IC
Drag tyres and a good launch
How much power would that setup be making?

I missed adding in a better than T cam as well...
160-180kw at rears
Assuming lh2. 4, a 15g may crack a 13, the diff ratio is a bigger factor there. My wagon with a loose wastegate, ported 90+(proven to add 10hp) with a 3" exhaust, stock ic and dying aw71, lh 2.2 and ipd turbo cam in a wagon weighing 1650kg, ran a 14.4, I couldn't get faster at the time, and every time I've had a good working auto. I have had no time to go back. And autos die when you start doing valve body mods too.

I think the box will die, especially if no oil cooler, and as is, your 240t would run a mid 14. Dave on here selling the 240 is the one that has the car that runs a 13? It has one of my intercoolers too.
I have the car. It went 14.1 I think, pretty sure the slip is in the glove box still. Atm it doesn't feel capable of that.
Whatever you need it's probably easier than getting an 850 into the 13's

A power to weight ratio of about 170 BHP per 1000 kg or better, and work on reducing the drag coefficient.
Reduce pizza consumption, got it
Persistence & dedication...?

Just spoke to mitch it ran a 14.3.
he feels if he had an lsd, stiffer shocks and a better clutch he would've hit 13s
only mod was a 2.5 turbo back exhaust

what turbo did he have on it?
shit i have no idea @heavy_dd what turbo is in your car ?
he said he was running 16psi too

It's cheaper to shed weight than to gain horsepower.

To run 14 second quarters, about 160 BHP is required per 1000 kg.
To run 13 second quarters, about 200 BHP is required per 1000 kg.

https://www.ajdesigner.com/fl_horsepower_elapsed_time/horsepower_elapsed_time.php

Increase the weight to 1400 kg, and about 280 BHP is required for a 13 second pass.

Keep the fluffy dice, doof-doof boxes and the like, and about 320 BHP is needed to do 13s in a 1600kg vehicle.

Holesaw, or Holset.

The rules allow some scope.

Mitch's car was a basic +T with exhaust and one of Alex's intercoolers.

The ad is probably still on here before I bought it. Elliot something was his username.
So how much power does a Turbo B series make. 160hp?

So according to that calculator, you just need it to weight 800kg with driver.. so.. 720kg?

I do like the idea of a 240 cut to an inch of it's usefulness. Surely the window mechanism is worth 100kg each? :D

You talking about Honda B series? They make those numbers NA...and weigh that amount too...

Ah. I was thinking of the B2* what ever comes in a 240. Assuming Head man was thinking of whacking a turbo on it.
ah right my bad

still, moral of the story is to just buy a Honda :p
