The first thing i done when i got this was to get an aftermarket central locking and immobilizer on as it didn't come with a Volvo key fob , happy days , remote central locking. So a couple weeks ago i bought 2 tested fobs ...
So had a play , now i knew by the ole turn the key in the door that the light on the dash was not working so a fair bit of work was involved. .
Took the glove box out and the central door locking box was not even there . So took one out of another 96 850 and yep still no go . Think I'll probably get the aftermarket parts removed and start again .
This cars wiring needs a good going over me thinks . Here's a few pics of under the steering wheel etc
Need to sort the dash out as well at some point ..
Feel like taking it off the road and just strip the crap out of it sometimes lol ...
