Oh the original color is dark gray pearl with 172 k on the clock automatic

Where from , your rims are looking good after you redid them.

May have to redo mine, as Wally made a fantastic job of the 850R paint.

Just back from the Hunter Valley wine area for the wife's bday, some seriously good reds there and nice and quiet during the week.

Got the flaps from ipd , og Volvo one's 3 years ago .

Leave the tcv plugged in, doesn't have to be connected hose wise to anything just the electrical plug, will throw a code eventually otherwise

Yep I put the original one in , plugged the holes and connected the intake hose up ?

Original grill, just waiting for windscreen washer bonnet nozzles and from Volvo as old ones were brittle and one snapped when put back in bonnet after respray, so am replacing both with genuine but none in stock at the time, tinting windows as I want to keep original seat leather as long as possible, also put a new windscreen in as the original one was sandblasted from 24yrs of country roads grit

Yep those nozzles break pretty easily , had to replace mine last year. Windscreen mate , who done it , Wally or a Windscreen company , mine needs replacing .

You got me wanting a respray now mate but I'm holding off till the mechanic side is finally finished

Wally organised windscreen, I'll ask and let you know who, definitely get all mechanical work done before respray, I'm seriously considering getting rims resprayed now as rest of car looks great.

I put new genuine roof gutter strip's in as well, worked out about the same price labour and paint wise to just buy new genuine.

Ash, if you read this , there's about 5 of us up for larger rear 850R sway bars, do you know anyone who can make them please

Get the rims re-ferbed mate , you'll love them , when I done mine it changed the look of the car . That reminds me , I need to get mine rolled as the rears have far too much weights on them then sand blast them and paint again ...

After running this set up for well over a year now and no luck of finding another fob

I Ordered a US module with a fob and fitted it a few months ago and all been good . So ordered another fob and new button pad and arrived today . Fitted the new button pads and coded the new fob and at last I have 2 working keys with fobs yey

Here's a dodgy screen shot ot the new pads if anyone need them

Today's mission then , rear suspension. I've not done anything like this in a long time and tbh was more worried about getting the car to sit on axle stands than the actual job .

I have new delta links as well but I don't think I'll be tackling those.

Rides nice and walking around the car it really does seem lower . I can see why 215/45 seem like monster tires now , now it's lowered

I'm not sure about doing the fronts myself yet , don't think I have the right tools .

Wait till you get the front done , you'll notice another of difference in the corners, nice

Fronts are easy with a rattle gun and decent spring compressors, the delta links are also a piece of piss IF you have the tool to remove them, if not don't bother it's a feckin nightmare, I ended up burning mine out with a torch, probably not the best idea next to the fuel tank, ask around someone might have the tool to lend.

I've replaced both the delta links and control arm links, between that and installing new rear wheel bearings plus B6 Bilsteins and H&R springs the back end of the 850R is amazing now

Wasn't going to play cars this weekend but near midday attacking this lot , not a lot ha-ha

So new o2 , , gearbox mount and subframe inserts were a breeze , happy days . Oh not a clue why this was like this ...

Anyway , sway bar bushes , oh what fun . Yep read threads on how great they are to do so thought I'd do them at the same time . So drilling and burning them out it is

I took the sway bar link off to get the og one off . The og one was pretty gone so I'm looking forward to see the difference. I'm hoping to do the other side during the week as the car is booked in to have a cat fitted friday . Waiting on Ipd for the rest of the engine mounts but looking like end of may for those .

Where can I buy spring clamps from guys ? asked at super cheap , they don't sell them . And do I really need an impact gun ?

Spring clamps or spring compressors, The ones I had from Supercheap that served me well for years were way to short for Volvo front struts, I had to buy new ones off eBay, they were cheap and nasty and only survived 1 use.

Stevo i have a 1/2 inch 18v rattle gun you can borrow if u need. She is Big old Girl but she gets job done ( lol I don't discriminate against age or big women). All my good compact Milwaukee stuff is 2000km away at work. I have a charger and a couple of battery for her if you need it
