It was the cheap way to go (cost me $30 all up for the Silkaflex) and going the galvanised custom mounts was going to be a $100-150 easy. No doubt the 740 engine mounts would better for an engine swap, but it should do the job fine for quite a few years.

Good sleuthing, sounds like it would work amazing!

Very much like the ingenuity!

Old clutch out and new clutch in. Either the throw out bearing failed and wore through the fingers on the pressure plate..... Or the fingers broke and damaged the throw out bearing.
Kicker is, date on the clutch puts it around the date of the cars manufacture. And has Volvo written all over it, so it looks like the original clutch and has minimal wear. I'll get some pics up today or tomorrow.

Soo, wrong keys got used on door and ignition so now no ignition, doors fixed. Have put switches in instead as 360's have 4 wire so super easy to do.
Rear coilovers from classicswede, working out what height I want, stock seems good though. Got lots of other little bits on the way from classicswede and waiting on old v70 struts to sell to afford the front coilovers.
So far so good on the enjoyinng driving it to work and getting around 8l per 100 which is pretty good.
Very much appreciating the stereo btw Dan :-)
