Down to my last little problem being the engine mounts. Since there I cannot find anything new or manufactured anywhere in the world and not wanting to take a gamble on a second hand set, I've decided to make my own! Being the 360 is different than most other cars out there with its hanging type, not the sitting type.
Which looks a little like that. Make it out of threaded steel pipe with threaded cap ends. Idea being you can easily replace the internal polyurethane down the track easily instead of making or trying to find some new ones. As follows top to bottom -
Welded bolt to hold onto the top mount on the top cap
Large bolt running most of the way for the lower dampening with a round disc/plate to interface with the poly
Large whole with some poly poking out the bottom to remain seperate
Also thinking I might try and build in a fail safety, whether a small disc closer to the bottom to lock it if it fails.
All I have to do now is hunt down some 80-90mm threaded pipe and cap ends. Time to invest in a decent stepped drill too :D
