I reckon it's money well spent, years ago I had the JAW and then the NAW barebones budget wideband setups.

I would be happy to sell the NAW cheap actually, it's accurate enough for this sort of thing but the drawback is it creates a bit of electronic noise, which was noticeable as a hum through the radio at low volume, so I don't want to use it in future projects for that reason.

@Angus242164 I usually fit clip on ferrite insulators to fix interference issues. Might be useful for you or @goodenough if he buys it

With fuel pressure, the maps are designed to work with the OE pressure, so potentially the car will run rich all the time with higher pressure. The FI can correct to some extent with the feedback of the O2 sensor (more so on LH2.4 with the learning than LH2.2), but it won’t be ideal. If you run higher boost, the fuel pressure will increase linearly with boost pressure due to the vacuum/boost hose on the fuel pressure regulator. I put a supercharger on our 88 240GL (running LH2.2) and I ran a very aggressive rising-rate fuel pressure regulator to make sure it had plenty of fuel under boost. Even then it could have a bit of pinging under boost of 5 PSI as the stock (non-EZK) ignition couldn’t retard enough. Anyway, a rising-rate fuel pressure regulator might be an option to consider as it only alters the fuel pressure when you’re under boost, which is where you’ll need it if you’re going to go above stock boost pressures. You may not even need it depending on how high you go with boost...I.e. keep it sensible! ;)

A supercharger on a GL sounds wild haha. Thanks mate I’ll do some research on the rising rate regulator. Should I look into getting a 3” AMM from a 760? I plan on running about 15psi which is about max for gearbox

The rising rate FPR we used on the supercharged 240 was a Vortech Super FMU:

It comes with adjustable springs so you can tune the amount of rise with boost. I think they’re fairly pricey but I got it used from a mate for cheaper. Yeah, just looked. About $400USD from Jegs. $650AUD from CAPA. Wow! I think I paid $300 which is still expensive. A long time ago hahah!

I still have the whole set-up as I removed it when we sold the car. I’m sure I’ll put it to use again - maybe on the yellow 79 245? I’ll probably run LH2.4 turbo FI system if I do that as it would likely allow running a bit higher than the 4-5 PSI we ran with on the LH2.2 non-turbo FI system.

Having no money has made this car my practical assessment. When I first got this car I wanted to keep I original. I decided to go in a different direction. I have learned a lot about these motors. I’m still a novice but I’m grateful to have found affordable toys and knowledge for future builds. I love this parts car.

NEarly finished after losing interest for 6months. The list I os trying shorter needs oil and coolant change. Have completed 16t swap braided lines, A cam +4, maf on intake, various other shit, all maintenance items. Acquired a set of hydra one by one over time for it

in the near future I plan on using a V cam .

I’m a kook and cut the return pipe wrong and lost the seal. I cam up with this silicone tip to seal and hold

Someone correct me or atleast back me up here, but considering the temp's the turbo oil return are at, my uneducated guess is I think that hose fail.
