Thanks to D&H Automotive for supplying me with the coolant pipe o-ring. They pulled it out of a gasket set they had - much appreciated!
Cheers to Dave @pigdog for telling me that ClassicSwede had some NOS release bearings all those months ago! Finally putting it to use, and it feels great.

Thrust bearing and retainer installed, as well as the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. Clutch is 240mm. The clutch and pressure plate combo purchased from ClassicSwede doesn't require any material grinded from the bell-housing. Flywheel weighs almost a third of the dished flywheel.


Triple checked and checked again! Clutch definitely slides freely on the input shaft! Not making that mistake again. A permanent lesson learnt.

Plugged the dipstick port using the injector orings that come with the HG kit, and a bolt. I used a different bolt than the one in the pic and two orings to be sure it sealed. I was going to install the dipstick tube but wanted something neater.

Definitely not a 1 person job....but I managed. There is NO ROOM to work with in that engine bay. It's a nightmare game of 'engine bay Tetris' and I almost gave up on it, but persevered and made it happen.
Still a bit to do, but most of the hard stuff is done. Still very nervous...
