I turned around at Seymour and limped back to Melbourne with a pulley bearing starting to screech. Fark it. For any ozvolvo people still looking for digs, I've paid up two nights non-refundable hotel accomm in Narrabundah near Fyshwick (and Sat night dinner venue). Potentially transferable to another guest if I'm called by reception to authorise it. PM me for details if you want to have a crack

Many of you have asked where the car washes are. The nearest to Alivio and the city, that is self serve without the traffic dramas, is Classic Car Wash in Lathlain St Belconnen, opposite Westfield Belconnen Mall.
From Alivio follow these directions:
• Once you’ve driven down the driveway (Kunzea St), turn right at the T junction onto Dryandra St
• At the roundabout, turn right onto Fairfax St
• At the traffic lights at the top of the hill, turn right onto Belconnen Way
• Follow Belconnen Way until you see Bunnings, turn right onto Lathlain St
• Follow Lathlain St past the Shell service station and Westfield, and the car wash will be on your, just before the T-junction.

Found also, Brite Car Spa.. seems to be a very decent looking hand car wash.
$60 for a complete inside and out wash, wheels properly cleaned and a hand polish.
Won’t worry about the S60R but Mercedes will get a proper clean.. open at 9am will give them a shot
