Where did you get the wheels? Was looking at some exactly the same. Will be good to see them fitted

Going to run ducting for the brakes given you want to use it on tracks? Wheels have openings to cool the brakes as you know.

Those wheels wont fit without spacers to clear the calipers in the front, I've got the same wheels and will be drilling some holes for air ducting in them, and i just ordered some spacers to help them clear whilst staying hub and wheel centric

Any idea what these wheels weigh? Suspect they are the very heavy, even for steel wheels.

I weighed mine, 11-12kg wheel only

Thanks.. that's not too bad. Mondeo/Kuga 17" steelies are 10.2kg's which isn't so bad when you consider an EVO 7 factory alloy is 9.9kg's anyway. (just for comparison sake)

Really? Do they hit the front of the calipers?

I have only trial fitted them on the rear so far.

Send us pics of trial fit on the front, I've not trialled them on the front of mine but the centre design is similar to the 14x8 12 slotters which are on my car at the moment, where I had to run slip on spacers in the front because the wheel would foul on the calipers

You can get them from BCI Wheels in Geelong, or on ebay if you look for early holden wheels. They sent me a set of 15x8 for $570; I am located in Sydney. If I had known that I needed to run spacers to run them on the fronts I probably wouldn't have purchased them.

Will hopefully trial fit the fronts this weekend, will post results here.

I bought a handbrake drift button to suit an AE86, quietly confident, to see how close it would be to fitting the 240.
Pleased to say it worked out perfectly ?. Just minor modification to where the button goes in to enlarge the hole.

Turns out the wheels do hit the calipers, still working on a solution.

Got around to putting my good instrument panel in, but it was different and the tachometer didn’t work, so I swapped all the faces over and put the better sun gear in to replace the busted one. The dash is nearly complete again.

I used 10mm slip on spacers to to clear the calipers, I guess any kind of spacer would work

Don’t really want to run spacers with these, might have to upgrade the brakes instead ?.

FYI, rx7 brakes are wider.

As long as it pushes the calipers further away from the centre of the rotor it should clear.
