I know how much most amps and 6x9 speakers are.

So what performance mods are being done?
Klaptrap24;123147 wroteAre those Hurricane extractors?
Yes I think they are iirc.

Very little to begin with, I have put a "k" cam in and I have the extractors to put on.
How do 240's go with ripping a skid?

Is not having LSD going to be a problem for it?

Any plans for a hydraulic handbrake?

I will put an LSD or Aussie locker in it, no need for a hydro just yet, can just use the kick and flick method for now but it will get one eventually. It should skid alright on a short track like archy, my N/A R31 skyline was heaps of fun there and once I get rid of some weight the power to weight ratio will be the same if not better than the R31.
So you won't be adding a stereo then? :p
What route will you be going for suspension?
Klaptrap24;123258 wroteWhat route will you be going for suspension?
Will probably just go a good set of springs and shocks from DVS, I don't think coil overs will really offer me any advantage as you can only get a true coilover for the front and the rear will still be a separate spring and shock.
ljk346;123298 wroteCan always get the new version of the rear coilovers kit when it comes out https://www.kaplhenke.com/collections/240/products/240-adjustable-trailing-arms
I could, but I'm going to start simple and upgrade more as I need to, this car will not be a competition car by any stretch. Just a car I can drive to the track, have some fun and drive home again (hopefully), I will enter grassroots competitions from time to time though.
Agreed, competition cars are too much work and money. Rears don't need that much adjustability anyway, can always get adjustable perches for adjustable ride height.
Added some more weight today.

egads;123634 wroteOoh, dual scale and looks right. Where did you get it?
Just off eBay, it is a Trisco unit, I think they suit it perfectly, period correct if you will. I didn't want to put anything too modern in, the stereo is the only thing modern so far.
And the wideband display of course...
I guess if you shave the head and advance the timing a heap it would be worth having a wideband with lh2.2

It's LH2.4 and it is always worth having a wideband to know what you engine is doing.
