Yep. The PVR was old and tired and the fuel injection still had issues that I simply could not sort out. I stripped and reset the control pressure regulator and the distribution metering block but it was all too far gone to really work properly. It ran OK but was very slow and rattly. I seem to have fixed those issue now though.
The above tests were full throttle, dry road runs, two adults and full fuel. It seems to put the power down very well. There was not much wheel spin as indicated by the phone in the second run. We are at 3400' elevation which would sap a significant amount of power . Sea level runs would no doubt be even better.
My wife did get the groceries yesterday and had no comment. Mission accomplished!
