Following on from this discussion. How would I attach these wheel arch trims? I have an '86 wagon that has them and I have sourced some second hand ones however am unsure of the best way to securely attach them? Thanks.
It’s up to you but I wouldn’t bother
The only way to install them is by drilling holes into the sheetmetal and once fitted they trap dirt and moisture accelerating the inevitable rust process.
Evil things
Maybe I've called them by the wrong name, but my car has 3 of these flexible, chrome looking strips around the top of the wheel arches, that appear to be stuck on with some adhesive tape. I've sourced a 4th one, just wondering what the best automotive double-sided tape might be? 3M the best? Thanks.
The plastic trims? I thought you meant the stainless steel ones
In that case yes double sided adhesive
