Long story cut very short the t-5r that was up for sale early last year is now in transit to Perth. I had one a few years back (the re-paint shots should be in the archives!) and I let it go I think in 2015. I move a few cars in and out but the previous car was one I regretted selling so I am delighted after a 12 months of back and forth, bad timing and recently good timing a deal was finally done.

Hopefully the car wont need to much work and just a professional paint polish and it will be good to go into active duty.

I had a similar feeling when I sold my 850R wagon. 18 months later I picked up another and haven't looked back!
Good fun!

Mark Iceton is selling his, and all fixed up as he does, don't know if he will post it up...

Well it's arrived and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it, hopefully the paint correction guy can save the pain of a respray but otherwise a much better starting point than my first one.

Round 2 then. Nice collection of cars as well Mark
Paint is just oxidized, it just needs a polish and it will be like new (single stage FTW) there is no reason on earth for it to get a re-spray

If this is the one I checked out last year... suspension up front needs a total rebuild. T-belt is overdue and some other mounts and bits and its becomes the cleanest 850 T5r in aus
That's the one @Philia_Bear it's a cracker isn't it!

I really really wish i had the cash
The lady selling it was also supper nice
I had a look at one last year also near caboolture QLD for 10k . Very nice car. Good luck with your purchase.
There is one parked in the same spot for months at Morningside Brisbane. Shame too see it sitting parked Up.

Thought I'd log on for a quick update.

I finally got the car into the superdetailing guy in Perth (young guy "finest1detailing") and he has done a terrific job bringing the paint back to life. A few panels must of has some new paint over the years...overall I'm quite pleased with it.

I've also replaced the belts, tensioner pulleys and the water pump with Volvo stuff (um $ ouch!), also had the air con regassed (had a win there works great) so now I'm just driving it around.

Few more things to do with tyres and suspension so ill start saving up...

Beautiful looking specimen. Have you updated the rear lights and lid or did Volvo change rear end lights in 95? Regardless your car Looks GREAT!

Tx u. That's how they came from the factory I think!
Looking good, the car has been noticed on the WA fb page already.
Lets talk more about that garage of yours up the top however.

Alfa, Lancia, BMW, Volvo,...

These are good ingredients!

And that Delta! I've never seen on over here. Is it a real one?

Yes it's an Evo1. They are a bit tricky to get licensed because of the import type used to get them in so we don't see many on the roads. I'm hoping for a law change in 2018 but it hasn't happened yet.
You lucky bastard. :+1:
