Yes, so you have the "period" radio up top usually, then the usable headunit underneath on cars without a glovebox. Which is more awkward and loses room. But then it doesn't offend you as much so that's ok...

I've noticed a few people at old car shows with a Bluetooth speaker/mini boom box type thing sitting on the dash or back seat.

I have a few cars with original AM only stereos that I don't want to mess with, and all will see very little use, so I'll probably get something like that, to transfer from one car to another.
