They may be from a Colorado, but they are an Isuzu rodeo/dmax tail light, which is also the same as the first gen Gemini. So basically he's fitted Gemini tails... Not a fan, but it is your car, the swedes have done worse before.

The eBay led tails, not adr approved, and as a result (truck mechanic) I know the brake lights end up too dim and the tails too bright, even when hooked up correctly. And the indicators can't be seen well during the day. Much like led globes, which just light up a little circle instead of the whole assembly like a incandescent globe does.

The tail lights generic cheapies from eBay. I nd on my fiberglass Ute tray, were ultra bright.

If I was headed this way, this is where I would prob head.
Or something a little more crazy with directional lit, indicators etc.

Everyone has their own tastes, but there was no way I was putting the original ones back on, I think they look like a last minute add on, but it's rack to their own!

Agree with you there, mostly since I grew up with a 73, and the look of the 73 grew on me... so I wonder how much of the opinion I have is just seeing a radical change from a style I liked and grew up with. I asked the missus to give her without prejudice opinion, and she said it looked a bit kinda 1800ES-esque and liked it. Each to their own, indeed.

And yes; AFAIC, the rest of it IS sweet.

I like the rear lights.
If the tail light infill is going to be black and the fasteners used to hold them in will be black too, they'll look great.

Of course, while we're all debating personal taste, we largely neglected to compliment you on the work done so far!
(shame on us!)

Ash, was thinking about doing panel Black, mates who is painting it thinks it will look crap, then I was thinking just paint surrounds black but that may look weird.
Threads have been welded and ground back so surround face all smooth now..
I might just paint it same colour is car and change later if needed..

That's a thought, easily changed then as well,,, painter say "wraps are for sandwiches" not cars... old school guy but actually does decent work and lets me cut rust out and make replacement panels and weld in, so I'll end up taking his point of view probably,,

I'd go with the painters advice rather than mine or anyone elses - he'll know what'll look best, no doubt.

You can wrap it once you are not near the painter anyway, not like it needs to be done on the spot.

Take pics and Photoshop the changes. See what you think of the look in virtual reality before doing it for real.

Best thing about wraps is it's an inexpensive way to test and feel out an idea. And if you like it, leave it or make it permanent.

When painters can paint this good, I'll concede that wraps are for sandwiches.

This is "toxic rat" by exotic graphics in carrum Downs, Vic. They won the world car wrap competition late last year with this entry. Along with a couple of my plated bits on there as well.

Much cheaper and easier than paint and easy change and easy repair

Some of then can get very exxy
But imho the average outcome on a sub $2k job is better

Yeah will definitely be sticking with 2pac, no wraps here ( thanks again for delivery), this week bolt doors and guards on, get gaps right and hopefully paint exterior on weekend or next week!!
