In-tank fuel pump done with a bit of backyard mechanic work that i'll need to fix up later.
Found that the sender unit bracket that supports the pump was cracked to death and I only had zipties around to fix it (needed to get on the road that night).
I've since been advised that zipties + fuel = not a long term solution due to the ties cracking/perishing over time. Ill get some hose clamps in the future to re do it, though I am interested to see how long they last.
Drove to Canberra and back and didn't skip a beat, definite improvement in response.
Also, since IPD had some nice cheap chrome lugnuts I thought I'd give them a whirl and add it in the order.
