Will have to put it over the pit at work (I'm a bus driver, having access to a pit is great) and check underneath for any broken mounts. Top ones look ok.

Finally got it over the pit and did the service it needed and reset the service reminder and car running well. Thanks to all for their input and help. Just one more question at the moment. How many ks before the reminder comes up again 5000, 10,000 or something else? thanks in advance.

I didn't get a chance to read everything.
Has anyone suggested getting the trans computer looked at?
Increasing the fluid pressure can help the trans last a little longer. (Not that this has been you current issues) though they are notoriously problematic.

Hi guys, back again with a new problem. Have a problem with the car shaking when excelerating. The whole car shakes when excellerating and gets worse the longer the foot is on the excellerator to the point that we have to remove our foot. We have had the rear tyres changed, thought they may have been out of balance. On a rear wheel drive it is usually caused by the wheels being out of balance , the tyres having a bulge in the side wall or the tail shaft out of balance. Our S80 T6 being front wheel drive the tyres were all I could think of. Has anyone else had this problem and how was it fixed please?

Shagged cv joints is a fair bet. Have a look at them and see if they have split and spewed goop everywhere

Sure its not the engine?
If the issue relates to engine speed and load and not speed on the road its a powertrain issue

egads (@egads), the passenger side has a torn inner boot, is that what you mean?

Philia Bear (@Philia_Bear) The engine seems fine, it's only when the excellerator is pushed a little harder (when going uphill or overtaking) that the car shakes. Other than that the car rund fine.

Get an alignment done first. Check CV joints, inside universal joints, bushings, tie rod ends. If it had a LSD I guess that could be an issue but I don't think they have one?
