It's got one of those high pressure coolant bottle caps. Apparently swapping to the low pressure cap (black) makes everything last longer.

Yeah no heater in there, was bloody cold last night haha yeah we had snow there, we are only about 100m above the Derwent at Glenorchy haha

Been daily driving this for a week, has a squeak in the front suspension when turning, any ideas? i havent really looked to see what it is haha
Is there an image somewhere of the shifter linkage setup? mine is really floppy

1200kms this week without missing a beat on not quite 2 tanks of fuel

Every 240 I've owned I turned self lubricating nylon bushes for the shifter.
Makes a huge difference...

Yeah I couldn't remember if my old wagon was this bad, its got maybe 70mm movement I recon, mainly to the passengers side. My brother put the linkage back in so maybe he missed a bush

About to bite the bullet and buy another kingswood too I think, so if anyone wants this make me a half reasonable offer and its yours haha

How much are the injector thingys meant to move? Mine have probably 2mm movement in them and when water etc gets around them it tries to stall the motor

Needs injector seals. Last time I got them in Hobart was from the injection place in Bathurst street but I'm not even sure it's still there lol. There's usually a fair wack of side to side slop in manual 240 sticks, forward back and it's not so good. I'm gonna one up snoopy and offer $51!

Thought that might be the case, automotive service solutions or something I think, still there I'm pretty sure!
How do you pull the injectors out? Would explain the kinda rough idle it has too I guess!

Yeah the side to side makes it a little vague to get into second gear that's the main problem

Cool I'll try and sort something out with them! This doesn't look right to me, seems a bit off centre to the passengers side

Yeah I had a look and ran over everything, I've got it better by loosening the mount and pushing it over a bit but the mount looks soft from being twisted for a long time because of the engine mounts, it works heaps better now anyway so that will do for a bit haha
