Dauntless Put a strip of black tape across the top so it doesn't look so out of place? :)) Or paint the section between the two rubber pieces black? That might look nice. I'd also like to see it with one of these:

AshDVS It suits the early nosed cars with aluminium bars really well. I had one on both of my old '79 245s. See -
AshDVS Me too but it may not fit with James' theme - he's worked hard to retain a lot of the chrome and stainless fittings and trim.
jamesinc No way, that would be less correct than the factory original motor. That being said, I am a reasonable man. If you buy me a 16V R-Sport head and 2.5L crank I will build a motor for them and I'll even chip in an R-Sport carby turbo kit.
