WTB VIC: 240 Parts - Early 240 front-end panels, M47, stepped flywhee, B234F head, and B230 motor

With some help from friends I should be able to fabricate the cross-member myself. I won't have a need to engineer anything. I've done a bunch of reading about the head conversion approach and was thinking that if I do the work myself and I'm not worried about VASS for the cross-member that I might be able to just dump a 234F straight in upright.

It's obvious that you know what you're on about though just by looking at a few posts here. I might start collecting parts for a head conversion instead. Was hoping to avoid a full motor build but I need that twin-cam life.

Anyone have a B234F head and/or a late B230 oil squirter motor they want to part with?

You can get away without pulling down a bottom end, and only flycutting the pistons too.

Can do B234F head, new exhaust valves, I think it was the exhaust valves, It has been in storage for 10 years. very good condition, no sign of any corrosion. I will find the photos, may be the weekend before I can find the photos.

I saw that Yoshifab has a jig to fly-cut, but they're not local. Is there an easy way to fly-cut locally without pulling the motor down and taking the pistons to a shop?

Have found valves and all bits, 8 New exhaust valves cost $300 alone.
