WTB VIC: 240 Parts - Early 240 front-end panels, M47, stepped flywhee, B234F head, and B230 motor

I'm slowly building up a '83 245 and I'm looking for the following.

Early front end bits (happy to consider either trim type)

- early model flat bonnet compatible grill
- 2 early model indicator lenses in good condition
- early model flat bonnet in good condition
- early model drivers side guard in good condition (will take a pair if I have to)

Misc
- M47 with 240 shifter and tail-shaft
- Stepped flywheel to suit 228mm clutch
- B234F complete head in good condition
- B230 bottom end with oil squirters (happy to consider complete motor)

PS. I'm also interested in the early model bumper(s) if anyone has some lying around.

I have light buckets, lights and surrounds and indicators (different colour lenses though). From memory one light has a chip but otherwise ok. Plastic is decent condition.

Early front quarter panels are different shape where the indicators line up so you need to change those if you change indicators.

I'm in sydney, happy to post if you want or organise some bruces to get it to you

Beware. They are not 7". Something just under as I found when I tried to put new 7" lights in place on my 78 245.

I have a pair of guards, one has a small dent, not a big deal to fix if they're getting sprayed to match the rest of the car anyway, will be reasonably priced.

Can do the B234F, head has been removed for new valves, you know why. Have the new valves, no manifolds, I wouls prefer you had a look at it or had someone else have a look at it. Bores are very good little sign of wear. Call Bob 0448733324

NB that "early model" comes in two variants - chrome trim on the panels (up to 77?) -OR- trim on the grille/headlight fascias (77?-80?).

I'm aware, right now I'm after anything I can get my hands on. I have a complete set of trim on panels (except grille) but some of the panels are damaged. I'd happily buy a complete set of the opposite if it meant I could complete my front end ready for paint.

I didn't know that. The reason I want a complete is so that I can compare stock 234F to 23E and plan out the correct approach. I'm toying with the idea of a custom cross-member and a mostly complete 234F in a 240 if clearances can work.

Also the M47 is going onto the 23E as soon as I can get one. The 234F is a long term idea that'd probably end up with a T5 if I ever get close to making it happen.

I have a 16v bottom end. Honestly the work to modify your crossmember, which then needs engineering, is more than starting with a 16v head, flycut pistons, and a yoshifab adaptor kit. Also you can't run a clutch master with a 16v head, need to customise that also.

So no, you do not need a complete assembled engine, there is Nothing special in the b234 bottom end other than pistons to need it.
