Duh - of course! Although I do enjoy a challenge. So what's your method? Mine was to add paper in the box that supported the handle then wrap the first cardboard box a few times in bubblewrap then add spacers of bubblewrap around to make sure it doesn't move within the larger external box. Bang on 500g, give or take a few grams either side, luckily the PO lady took pity. Are you using the 'click and send' as well? Pretty good service!
The mugs I use come in 12cm cube boxes. I wrap them in brown paper (you can buy huge rolls of it on eBay for a pittance) then stuff them in a 15cm cube box. I had one go to Adelaide and back to Sydney and then to Perth (I botched the delivery address) and the outer box was beat up but the inside was fine.
Nice, sounds like we're on the same track 'cept I use bubblewrap between the boxes.

Thinking up some new mug designs, not sure if I'll play with the warstripes more, perhaps get some car detail in there as well. Note that the mockups are slightly stretched vertically.

Maybe "Red" is really printed in Volvo blue (as insider joke #1), and a line drawing of the front of a 240/740/940 with a red lego piece (brick - insider joke #2) under the hood as the engine. And maybe the 'o' in favourite is the Volvo iron symbol.

First examples of the warstripes have landed. Pretty happy with them although the gradient outline of the car breaks up a little bit, I think I might make it a solid black instead.
