Finally got the engine back in the car, it put up a hell of a fight (I.e. two prior days and copious amounts of swearing and smacking things with whatever tool was in my hand at the time).
Still got some work to do till it's running again, everything is just dummied up in the pictures.
I also cut a hole in the timing cover for access to the adjustable cam gear, instead of having to remove the whole cover to make any adjustments.
