Rear seat 245

Looking to find the one of the last puzzle pieces for my 245 project, car came home and after cleaning and folding the seat up found no chair. Can anyone help with one to match or any links to some for sale? Would be a huge help

I’m not an aficionado of early 245’s … but I don’t remember having noticed that interior in one. I’m not saying I didn’t see it per se, just that I don’t recall it, and I don’t think it’s super common (the vinyl or leather & corduroy combo … it’s not a repair using two sets of seats is it?).

The upholstery code on it is 5191-02, which is black and the door panels are leather but I’m not to sure on if any parts have been shifted around from factory. I’d assume not because the front seats are in terrible condition and will probably need a swap out some time soon.

Uh, okay. It's just that I looked up that upholstery code in the parts book, and there's no part number listings for the rear seat backrest [4] or cushion [5] for that code.

I got curious about what type of brackets are needed to hold down the front lower edge of the rear seat cushion (so the rear seat cushion flips up and over behind the front seats when you open up the cargo area) in that year model. But the 245Ls never had those brackets from factory, since they had a huge tray in the back.

Did the L’s ever have rear seats? If the mounting points are different from the dls and gles then I guess I’d have to adapt one from a higher trim level if I can actually find a black one leather or cloth

I imagine a lot of them were converted later in life

Perhaps mine had some work from a previous owner. Guess I have to work on a conversion or adaptation from another car. Still wondering why there’s an armrest and back rest in the rear with no factory seat

Id guess it was converted from and L at some point and someone had the rear seat custom upholstered to match, and then the seat based disappeared over the subsequent years. What does the compliance plate say? 2 seats? Or evidence of being restamped to 5?
