Stoonly looked at BNE Kaplhenke and then found Kmac and realised I hadn't seen anyone mention them on this forum or any other come to that?
Oh? Well. A few years ago, I organised a group buy of rear sway bars from K-Mac for 140/164 rear sway bars on this group. The K-Mac rear bars hook up to the 140/164 rear suspension by using plates attached to the trailing arms, so they operate like a 240 sway bar, i.e. like a torsion bar.
OTOH, the iPD rear sway bars for these cars are U-bolted to the diff, and then each end is bolted via stays to the floor - see the pic of @carnut222's classic 145 (which is for sale) below which has a rear iPD bar.

For my 142, I wanted the K-Mac type setup because I'd had a K-Mac rear bar on my first 144 years ago and it made one hell of a lot of difference to how the car handled. I also preferred how the K-Mac rear sway mounted, compared to the iPD bar. When combined with a yellow Selby front bar, the 144's lap times dropped several seconds at Amaroo (which tells you how long ago I had that car....)
But let's get back to K-Mac's 240 camber / castor plates. Given how most of the standard replacement 240 strut tops available these days are ProParts and other rubbish vastly inferior to OE, and how although BNE parts are excellent, they may incur long lead times, I'd be tempted to give the K-Mac parts a go, and seeing how they work out. I doubt they'd be any worse than some ProParts strut tops which have reportedly failed catastrophically, after the rubber and bearing have separated from the mounting plate and threatened to put the threaded end of the strut tube through the bonnet.
I do have a 244 which will need replacement strut tops before the car goes over the pits, so I'm very interested to learn what the OP has found with regards to K-Mac's prices. It would also be wise to check with K-Mac with regards to supply availability and any lead times.
OBHint: If he does need time to get them made, give him plenty of time, then follow him up a week before they're due.
