850 key immobiliser bypass

I bought a spare key for an 850 but of course it cannot be programmed thus fails to communicate with the sensor ring on the ignition switch.

Allows cranking but no fuel delivery

Can this be bypassed so that the new spare key can be used?

ramrod we've discussed it here earlier, pretty sure you can bypass it, either with the bypass relay or just make a jumper wire. Should be able to work out which pins based on the image of the relay.

Another "ghetto" option would be to move the antenna ring under dash and secure a programmed chip to it. You can cut the chips out of the keys.

I found out the bypass relay has already been fitted.

This 850 does not have an alarm nor keyless entry. I also looked for an added on relay similar to the one in the picture and wasn’t able to locate it, I could have been looking in the wrong places though.

There is a central locking relay directly above the bypass relay however removing it didn’t change anything, unless there is a way to bypass this relay too I just don’t know which pins to bridge
