Baweesh Found a turbo charger from a 740 b230ft recently and it’s got heaps of play in the core. Thought it would be simple enough to find a replacement but for my life I cannot find anything at all. Anyone know where to find a TD05 12B CHRA? Part number for turbo is 5003640 apologies if there is an answer for this but I did try to look.
ramrod There are zero parts available anywhere for this model turbo. Many have tried, none have succeeded I would take this opportunity to upgrade to a better turbo, TD04 13C, 15G or 16T, plus parts to service and modify them are available easily
calvintibia001 I think Kinugawa has a TD05 20G CHRA, you can message them on eBay, they have a lot of random CHRAs. Their quality seems to be ok (not as good as a factory MHI), but my mate has a Kinugawa turbo in his RB25 for over 5 years and seems to be ok

calvintibia001 Baweesh Compressor housing no, but turbine housing yes. cause the TD05 is the turbine side and 12B/14B/15G/16G/20G is the compressor side. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/186857563741 Message them and check if they have one for you, if not check the compressor inlet size and compressor outlet size and ask them if they have one that is the same. (not sure if the clocking will be correct too)
