Im after advice on where to buy parts.
Currently in need of an accelerator cable for my 240 but also after service items like filters, spark plugs, radiator hoses, strut tops.
My newly purchased '83 240 needs a bit of love.

@Rallynav Skandix are a good one-stop shop for consumable parts, but their shipping is flat rate so only makes sense if you're ordering a bunch of stuff.
RockAuto are a good source of strut tops. Use KYB strut tops. All the others (including Volvo OEM!) have been nothing but premature failure in my experience.
For non-service items like the accelerator cable, second-hand sounds like @ramrod can hook you up, otherwise places like Skandix or gcp.se, but you will want to know the part number first as there are several different lengths for LHD/RHD and carb/K-Jet/EFI.
