^ Definitely an 'L' block since you can see the bumps on the oil gallery, but it may not have the squirters fitted - as a very general rule, 'L' block engines with square-toothed timing gears didn't. So it may have bolt-plugs in the gallery, ready for squirter install. The drilling for them should be done.
