It's time to clean house of projects that aren't going to happen. I've owned this car for 20 years and dry stored it the last 15. It's strong in memory as a favorite to drive.

This is an internaionaly rare car, with only a handful left. It is gold in color, and has factory D-jet, manual overdrive, 4.56 diff, black leather interior, 8 track tape player, centre console and clock, air conditioning and a range of otherwise rare and different to find adaptions. Very few of these flagship cars were sold due to their outrageous cost at the time, about double the standard price. This car is one for a genuine enthusiast, it has museum or international export potential.

The car is in Melbourne. I believe it to be rust and collision free. Several areas of the gold paint have failed, typical of the poor paint chemistry. It could be partial or fully repainted. There are numbers non structural body marks and imperfections. The interior has many components that are as close to knew as you are likely to find now. I think the odometer is around 110k. I have papers relating to it's Canberra diplomatic ownership. I have it's sales books, and it's last registration papers, last in my name.

I have run the car periodically to avoid storage failure. The main mechanical work I remember doing is the head gasket, at which time I had hardened seats fitted and an iPd cam and lifter kit of the original type but not soft original metal, a problem with the early cars that were injected. I have a folder on the car somewhere.

This is a rare car that hardly exists in the world. Overdrive gearboxes cost on average $2k+ these days before shipping, and a rust free car in itself saves heaps. $50 offers not considered. Look forward to hearing from the next possible owner, it's an excellent project to bring it to your standard, and for you to start with a bit of a time capsule. Pictures to follow.$
