dmc You are best trying UK or Europe, 960s here were auto only. UK and Europe had manuals. That said, I am not sure if a 740 pedal box will fit, in which case there may be one here. Can anyone confirm or deny the 740 pedal box into a 960/S90?
Major Ledfoot dmc Can anyone confirm or deny the 740 pedal box into a 960/S90? Pretty sure they're different, since the firewalls are different between 740/780/940 and 760/960/?90. LHD and RHD are also going to be different.
BostonBeaneater Major Ledfoot Damn, I hadn't thought about RHD and LHD. I've driven a couple RHD cars in Ireland, which were a lot of fun. The first few miles back home felt pretty weird. Looks like Sweden drives on the right, like the USofA, so perhaps all their cars are LHD and I should start digging around there. I could contact the guys from KG Trimning…
BostonBeaneater Not sure how correct this is but it may be helpful to a certain degree. https://www.worldstandards.eu/cars/list-of-left-driving-countries/ Have any of you tried the https://www.jagrullar.se/forum/index.php Swedish Volvo forum? I could post a WTB ad there and hope someone with the part, who can read English, runs across it.
Major Ledfoot BostonBeaneater - Your best bet might be an ad in TurboBricks Wanted. Being a wordwide forum, there's a lot of folks in the EU posting there. They also have a lot more 965s and V90s than we do in OZ (which is, officially, about 47 - from years 91-98...) A lot of Swedes speak English (they're a pretty multi-lingual people really).
Major Ledfoot BostonBeaneater JFYI, this bloke on TB made his own 960 clutch pedal. Check out from post #15 onwards. https://turbobricks.com/index.php?threads/justins-manual-swapped-960-wagon.377486/
BostonBeaneater Major Ledfoot Thanks for letting me know! I'm trying to contact the person but having trouble registering with turbobricks. The "captcha I'm a human" thing is turning into a PITA for me. lol
jamesinc BostonBeaneater I'm immediately 30% suspicious that you are a Volvo-loving AI. Welcome to Oz Volvo 👋
