Hi all,

Currently in the process of converting my 81 KJET 240 wagon to turbo with motor from a 92' 940 turbo.

Would love to buy a used LH2.4 60-2 Flywheel, but i do know they're hard to come by and people dont want to sell them… But money talks 😉 Right?….

I know there are people who sell brand new LH2.4 looms online from US/UK but they're around the $6-800 mark so if at all possible id love to be able to get a second hand poor-er condition loom and tinker and repair with that for cheaper.

Modifying my 940's loom seems more and more daunting as i resarch into it. Looking to maybe purchase a poor condition factory LH2.4 240 Harness that i can re-sheath/Re-pin broken connectors if necessary etc at home.

If anyone has any, or any leads for me please text me! I have money begging to go into your bank account!

On the flywheel thing, have a quick look around the yoshifab.com site, they might have some alternatives for triggering the ECU. Note “might”, I’ve not checked myself, but it is the sorta thing they might do.

Forg I saw KLRacing offers some Crank based alternatives but i have heard mixed opinions of these.

Considering also just having my KJET flywheel CNC Drilled for 60-2? Do youu know anything about this?

No absolutely zero, sorry … a bloke who no longer does such things made me up a chopper-wheel which mounts behind the front crank-pulleys on my B23E for my aftermarket ECU … I didn’t need to be compatible with LH2.4.

STS Machining (in the US) offers a flywheel machined for LH 2.4.

You might be able to find a machine shop locally who can adapt your existing flywheel for a 60 minus 2 trigger.

The TTV and other flywheel options have been mentioned already. But....

The ECU and EZ-K don't really care where they get their 60 minus 2 signal, as long as it gets one while the engine's turning. To that end, KL Racing offers brackets and tone wheel kits which attach to the engine's crankshaft pulley.

Just checked the Yoshifab site - their offerings are modified distributor fittings to fit CAS sensors for non-OE systems, not 60 minus 2.

Harnesses - I bought a 240 LH 2.4 harness made in The Netherlands from Dave Barton, and it's very well made with excellent documentation; it's not cheap though. It does have the advantage of being plug 'n' play into a 240. Time saved is money saved, plus reliability is priceless AFAIC, but YMMV.

Although in more recent times, @ramrod mentioned something about either making or supplying stand-alone LH2.4 harnesses - he may wish to comment on this?

Next comes the issue of chipping.... for another post.
