My centre screen has played up for 18 months or so. It will fairly often lose GPS signal in built up cities, but can be anywhere anytime randomly (even parking it at work) and can take 2 bloody days to reset, meaning i have to use my phone's google maps (which funnily enough does not lose signal when the car does!
I came out to the car to drive home for lunch yesterday and Black centre screen. Still Black 36 hours later, despite locking the car overnight and doing the Home button reset a couple of times as well as the defroster reboot all to no effect.
It is not good enough in a luxury car. If the satnav stops working and takes a couple of days to sort itself out and the dealer doesnt know what the cause is then it is not fit for purpose. And with a Black screen there is NO accesc to Anything.
I will be taking it back (again) next week and ask them to replace it (either the centre screen module (or the car)) with something else. Being putting up with this since new in 2022.
It doesnt seem an uncommon issue looking at various forums. And it seems if the above doesnt resolve it then a trip to the dealer. Unfortunetly Living in the country the dealer is 2 hours each way on country roads.
