The usual suspects for this kind of thing in Melbs are Berry Motor Group who sell a few of the RWDs through their workshop, Voldat who is Volvo workshop and generally know what is for sale around town, and Monash Prestige who recently started a parts business for older Volvo's. Google will provide their phone numbers if you want them.
If you are in a Volvo club you will receive the magazine every couple of months (one magazine for all clubs in Aus), there are sometimes leads in there on who to call in your area or classified ads. If you frequent GLT there are likely a few copies lying around to flick through.
It may also pay to ping @carnut222 as he is often the first to hear of anything for sale through the Victorian club, and most of the classifieds for the Vic club are re-posted here anyway.
Check the auction sites too, Manheim, Pickles and Graysonline, there are sometimes 240s coming up there, I know Mark (Monash Prestige) picked up a tidy 240 sedan from Grays a few weeks back for a few hundred dollars.
