Posting a short write up on fixing my passenger (LHS - Australian car) side mirror. It would not move in all 4 directions when the adjustment 4-way switch was used. Left/Right worked OK, but Up/Down would not.
The issue was fatigue of the wires within the mirror itself right where it pivots as the mirror folds in against the door when locked.
