Completed swapping 2 litre 4cylinder and 3 speed, for a 2.5 litre and 4 speed. Went with a Toyota 1JZ-GE and A340E.

Happy to discuss and answer questions about the swap. Here are some of the bits done along the way:

Custom engine mounts, modified transmission mount, custom driveshaft, custom driveshaft safety hoops, modified fuel system, custom electric cooling fan (pusher), custom speedo drive, Drive by wire throttle/ pedal, custom engine/ trans/ fuel system wiring, aftermarket ECU, custom ignition, custom exhaust, various other bits and pieces…..

Throw up some photos and a bit more information for sure. I'd be interested to see more information on the DBW pedal setup you used in a 240.

      dmc Thanks. They were V2. V1 didn't pass certification here in NZ. V1 took up less room and were more "elegant", in my opinion….but I can't certify them, so V2 came along. V1 was a little more race car, sound wise. V@ are quiet, using Toyota oem rubber mounts.
