After moving the engine all the way back and the radiator all the way forward I need just a little more space in the 142's engine compartment. Does anyone have a B200 water pump pulley? I've got the pump but still looking for a pulley. Like the one in this picture:

Thanks,

I can try to find one for you

that would be amazing - I'm in Washington State, USA and if there's anything you'd like from NA I can see what I can do.

Welcome JoelR - I've been following your progress on the 1971 142 Turbo v2.0.

I'd love to run a fan shroud and I just need a little more space to get both that and the fan wedged in

Anyone have any luck at the wreckers? I've a 3D scanner at work and my plan is to scan this thing to see if it could be economically machinable. It's such a bummer to have the pumps reasonably available but no pulleys!

JoelR There aren't a lot of wreckers who take Volvos into their yards, and the number of 360s sold over here wasn't huge. If no one has come forward by this point, your best bet might be to try contacting VolDat in Melbourne VIC.

Your other alternatives would be to try one of the 360 forums based in the UK and Netherlands.

If you want a new one, you could try GCP in Sweden if you have the part number.

I think for a part like this it would be faster to just measure it rather than 3D scan. Anyone with a lathe should be able to make one from some aluminium round bar without much trouble (I would offer to do it but I am way too busy already).

I think these 5 dimensions are all you need really:

All good advice - if I can't source a pulley the plan is to determine the pulley offset to the block on the existing pump and see if there's something off the shelf that has about the right depth and can be machined to the right center hole. This seems remote, but, I live in hope. The next is filling in those dimensions and getting it machined. It's quite a volume of chips on the ground, but there we are.

As I've been on the hunt for the pulley I'm definitely beginning to see how few on the ground 360's with B200s are!

@JoelR if you do end up getting measurements, I'm happy to chuck it into a Fusion360 model for you, it's a good excuse for me to practise 🙂
