Well timbo you didn't disappoint me, your childish I told you so was expected.

The idea of having an adjustable turbo boost is still something I am looking into. I learned a lot from the exercise and will continue to investigate.

If anybody has any constructive suggestions I would welcome them. Now it's on to plan B. I am considering a Hilton tune, any recommendations on where to have this installed. Are there any other tunes that members have experience with?

I suggested you were on the wrong track, you chose not to listen. I still provided you with the information you asked for.

Why are you willing to accept advice from strangers off the internet now?

Your choices are limited, depending where you are in Australia, having someone nearby with the hardware to install tunes will reduce the cost significantly, as you will only have to purchase the software.

If you have no supporting modifications you could get a stage 1 tune from Hilton or vdash.

Vdash requires the car connected to a laptop and battery charger for anywhere up to 24hrs to break the cem pin code, before loading ecu tune

Hilton you need to perform a readout from the car and then wait a few days/weeks to be emailed your tune file

Hi timbo if you check I did acknowledge your info, never suggesting you were incorrect, only pointed out that I am a hands on person, not an overqualified uni graduate with little practical experience, not that I am necessarily putting you in that category.

as to taking advise from strangers off the internet doesn't that embrace all forum members including yourself who I am happy to receive advise from? Now on to happier things.

Re Hilton tune you mentioned supporting mods,please explain. Incidently I am in Melbourne

Don't wanna de-rail your for sale thread too much but you should speak to mark iceton at Monash prestige or Mark Richardson via Voldat.

These are the required mods for Hilton's different tuning stages, generally fairly universal advice
