Hi All,

Jus in the middle of repairing the factory fitted child booster seat.

Issue: The seat folds down out of the rear seatback fine but when i open the booster seat up the base of the seat has 2 sections to the bottom part that are meant to spread apart during the opening process.

I'm looking for a breakdown or assembly picture so i can understand how to put mine back together. The part shown in my hand has a broken rivet in it so unsure where it should be mounted?
I tried the Volvo parts manual but it doesn't show a detailed breakdown.

Hoping i have all the parts and it just requires a rebuild/reassembly.

  • All sorted, I just worked it out myself and riveted that black pivot to the seat base. This thread can be closed.

242GT I did and it doesn't go into the depths of the seat to see how's its assembled 😏

      Hey mate glad you sorted it out , I did have a good look at mine but didn't come up with a decent solution .
