morch_66479 RADIO CODE Pt.2: During a 04:30am toilet stop last night I managed to crack the code. I had to do a double take when it worked. Luckily I started in the 6 thousand range. The winner is @rado with a guess of 6666. The actual code is 6225 😎 Here's hoping it all works OK when I install it 🤞
242GT Buy a small battery powerred Kingchrome engraver and put the code on the top of the unit and write it in the radio section of the cars manual
morch_66479 rado 242GT I shall never ever forget mine after all my efforts - it's engraved in my brain haha
242GT rado I've written mine in the factory instruction manual on ghe radio page and also in texta on top of the head unit
morch_66479 242GT I think there might be one new one installed I feel like the wheel alignment isn't right now though Last year when the rack was rebuilt it was aligned but it chewed up the outside of the front Pirelli P-Zero's :-/ I might need to get another alignment to get it right
morch_66479 jamesinc Yeah, delighted I started in the 6 thousand range as I'd be there a long time if I started in the 1 thousand range. Did you post those keyrings yet?? :-P
242GT morch_66479 Did they align the back wheels as well , some places forget that front wheel drive needs both done
morch_66479 HEADLIGHTS Pt.??? I’ve been freshening up the front end of my T-5R and had the headlight reflectors vacuum metalised by Hyqual Australia in QLD — should make a big difference for night driving! I also built a new headlight harness, since the original often fails over time due to heat and age. Anybody ever do the vacuum metalising? Can't wait for the install next week.
